Services

As a part of the Design-Build Contracting team, led by Kee-Chanona Limited (KCL), our Engineers performed detailed engineering designs and construction supervision of mechanical (Air-conditioning and Ventilation systems), electrical and plumbing engineering services. This included: electrical power distribution, load analysis and equipment selection, electrical lighting and equipment selection, life safety and fire protection, telecommunications, electrical grounding, lightning protection, security, and access control systems, as well as potable water and wastewater drainage designs.

Synopsis

The Furness City Park features a 12-story public carpark designed with post-tension reinforced concrete providing approximately 900 carpark spaces. The carpark is located in the capital city of Port of Spain, neighbouring the Government Campus Plaza. This modern carpark facility is fully outfitted with energy-efficient lighting from the ground to the 12th floor by means of LED light fixtures, as recommended by our Electrical Engineers.

Another major design feature includes the environmental protection of the electrical and mechanical material and components, which are suitably specified against the sea blast from the nearby oceanfront. The carpark also features fully automated electronic pay-on-foot machines located at the facility’s exit and entry points.
